Easter Weekend at 27 Old Compton Street

Handmade pasta and Italian wine in the heart of Soho

Four days off, the clocks have gone forward, and London finally has some warmth to it. Easter weekend is made for celebrating with friends and family over delicious fresh pasta, and 27 Old Compton Street is an intimate Italian pasta bar inspired by the tavola calda tradition - fresh pasta made to order, an all-Italian wine list, and a room that feels like a corner of 1960s Sicily dropped into the middle of Soho.

We’re open on Good Friday (3rd April), Easter Sunday (5th April), and Easter Monday (6th April), serving pasta right through to late evening.

What’s on the Menu

Every pasta dish is made fresh and cooked to order. The Bucatini Cacio e Pepe is one of the most ordered plates in the restaurant, and the Maccheroni Vodka has earned a reputation of its own since we opened. There are twelve pasta dishes on the menu alongside risottos, small plates to share, and desserts like the Mini Doughnuts stuffed with pistachio, hazelnut, and chocolate cream - good luck sharing them.

You can see the full menu on our website before you visit.

Italian Wines and Cocktails

The wine list is entirely Italian, with bottles and glasses picked to match the food. If you're a wine person, you'll find plenty to try.

The cocktail menu is small but every drink on it is Italian-inspired. If you're not drinking, there are non-alcoholic options too.

Two Floors, Two Different Moods

Upstairs is where the open kitchen is - you're sat close to the chefs making your pasta from scratch, and the atmosphere has a real warmth to it. There's outside seating on Old Compton Street too, which is one of the best people-watching spots in London.

Downstairs is a different story. The lower floor is set in old wine cellars with plush booths, low lighting, and semi-private alcoves that seat up to ten. If you’re eating with a group this Easter, it’s worth asking about the cellar when you book.

Easter Weekend in London

Soho comes alive over Easter, the streets fill up, the weather is usually turning, and there’s plenty going on around the neighbourhood. We’re right on Old Compton Street, so you’re a few minutes from Chinatown, Carnaby Street, and the West End theatres. Whether you’re planning an Easter Sunday lunch or a Friday evening out, this is the part of town to be in.

Book Your Easter Table

We're a small restaurant, so tables fill up fast - especially over a bank holiday weekend. Upstairs tables are bookable and downstairs is walk-in only. If you’re planning to join us on Good Friday, Easter Sunday, or Easter Monday, reserve now.

Dogs are welcome and so are groups. If anyone in your party has dietary requirements, mention it when you book.
