Lunch in Soho
The best pasta in London, served in minutes
Lunch breaks are precious, and wasting one on a disappointing meal is frustrating. 27 Old Compton Street follows the Italian tradition of Tavola Calda, where handmade pasta is served fast and the quality never suffers for it. If you've only got an hour, you'll still eat one of the best plates of pasta in London. If you're meeting a friend or grabbing lunch with the team, this is where to come.

The Pasta
The menu has twelve pasta dishes, all made fresh and served quickly. Cacio e Pepe, Amatriciana, Carbonara, slow-cooked beef ragu, and the Maccheroni Vodka that's become a viral favourite on Instagram. Every dish is made with care, and you can add fresh truffles to any of them if you want to take things up a level.
Vegetarians have plenty to choose from too. The menu isn't a last minute edit for those who don't eat meat. There are authentic italian dishes with delicious flavour, and the team can guide you through the options if you're not sure where to start.

Perfect for Teams and Catch Ups
If you're looking for somewhere to bring colleagues during lunch hours, 27 Old Compton Street is ideal. The food arrives quickly, the menu has something for everyone, and you can be in and out within your break. It also suits friends meeting for a midweek catch up, or anyone who wants a proper meal without the wait.
We offer full table service, with time-limited tables to keep things moving. One to two guests have up to an hour, and groups of three to four have up to an hour and fifteen minutes.
Central Soho Location
We're right on Old Compton Street, one of the most famous streets in London. Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, and Tottenham Court Road are all a short walk away. The restaurant opens at midday and serves lunch through the afternoon, and we're open late on weeknights and weekends too.
Dogs are welcome.
